The CRR Scheme provides opportunities for self-employment/ wage employment to the employees or their dependents of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) rendered surplus as a result of modernization, technology upgradation and manpower restructuring in the PSEs.

Under the scheme, the VRS/VSS Optees or their dependents are provided short duration training for re-skilling as per Qualification Pack of job role/trades selected by them. These training programs are aligned to the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
